A quality education matters, but not everyone can afford one. Daunting expenses keep thousands of students from their goals every year. At MyChinaInterpreter, we want to help. The My China Interpreter Scholarship Program awards $500 to one student toward their education expenses, with the aim of growing the award in future years.

Scholarship amount
The scholarship is $500, awarded to one student toward their education expenses.
Who is eligible
Both undergraduate and graduate students may apply, provided they are enrolled full-time in a degree program at an accredited college or graduate school.
How to apply
- Email selina@mychinainterpreter.com with your full name, university, phone number and email address.
- Once approved, you write an essay of 1,200+ words on the topic “How Language Shapes the Brain.”
- Submit your essay by the program deadline, in Word format only (no PDFs or Google Docs links).
- Make sure your essay is original and creative, plagiarism means immediate rejection.
- Provide only the information requested above.
How applications are reviewed
Our team manually reviews each submission, judging on creativity, value and thoughtfulness, and lists the winner on this page after the deadline.
Privacy
Applicants’ personal information is for internal use only and is never shared with third parties. Students retain all rights to their submitted essay.
